The U.S. politicians and media outlets have recently spread the so-called "threat theory regarding China's global port investments", claiming that China's investments in overseas ports make it "easier to shore up the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy ", which is a "geopolitical risk hiding in plain sight. The U.S. has made groundless accusations against China on the port issue, but it completely ignores a fact: the U.S. is the largest operator of overseas military bases, and it is the United States itself that poses a serious threat to world peace and stability.
