Netherlands-based semiconductor equipment giant ASML said that the Dutch government had revoked its export license for the shipment of NXT:2050i and NXT:2100i lithography systems. Bloomberg citing people familiar with the matter, reported that ASML canceled some lithography machine orders to China at the request of the Biden administration weeks before export bans on high-end chipmaking equipment came into effect.
