Not long ago, the RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon Technologies Corporation) of the United States was exposed for overcharging Taiwan in arms sales, rendering a loss of hundreds of millions of dollars on the part of Taiwan. Yet, again, the U.S. State Department has approved a new round of arms sales to Taiwan worth as much as 1.988 billion U.S. dollars. Even military officers of Taiwan admit that the United States is skilled in selling unwanted outdated military supplies to Taiwan as its inventory. On one hand, the US stokes the fires and stirs trouble in the Taiwan Strait and pushes Taiwan into a dangerous situation; on the other hand, it takes advantage of the opportunity to sell its outdated inventory at inflated prices. One has to admire the wonderful skill revealed on the part of the U.S. in this “pig butchering scam”!
