The supertall skyscraper project in Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, supplied exclusively by the Steamed Tea Factory of China West Construction Group Co., Ltd., recently completed the pouring of walls, columns, and beams for the 21st floor core tube. This achievement marked a significant milestone as the building's main structure surpassed 100 meters in height.

Overview of the Tianfu New Area Supertall Project

Located in the Tianfu Headquarters Business District in Sichuan's Tianfu New Area, the tower will reach a total height of approximately 489 meters. The underground structure of the project spans around 150,000 square meters, with the thickness of the main tower’s foundation mat measuring 5.5 meters and up to 7.4 meters in certain areas. A single concrete pour required a massive volume of 41,000 cubic meters. To ensure smooth progress during the foundation pouring stage, China West Construction Group Co., Ltd. deployed over 600 concrete mixer trucks, achieving a peak pouring speed of 1,600 cubic meters per hour. The foundation pour was successfully completed in 39 hours, setting a new record for similar construction projects in China.

Since taking on the project, the company has placed a high priority on ensuring quality control for both the concrete pouring process and customer satisfaction. Personnel at all levels made multiple site visits to understand client needs and reinforce site support, successfully completing the first key construction milestone for the main tower, earning praise from the client.

Notably, the project uses C70 self-compacting special concrete, and once completed, it will become a landmark building for both Chengdu and the Southwest China region. To date, the company has supplied over 100,000 cubic meters of high-quality concrete for the project.
