　　中國鐵建承攬的沙特麥加輕軌項目是當前全球設計運能最大、運營模式最複雜、運營任務最繁重的軌道交通項目，可在7天內運送來自全球的朝覲乘客。這是中國企業在中東地區建成的首條輕軌鐵路，也是沙特第一條輕軌鐵路。

　　The Mecca Light Rail Project, undertaken by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), is one of the world's largest, most complex, and most demanding rail transit system projects. It can transport pilgrims from around the world within seven days. This is the first light rail built by a Chinese entity in the Middle East and the first light rail system in Saudi Arabia.
