Beijing's Vibe of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chinese Solar Terms-Qingming

"All growing things are clean and pure at this time". On April 4, we welcome Qingming, one of the 24 solar terms. Among the 24 solar terms, only Qingming is both a solar term and a festival. During this season, fresh greenery thrives and flowers compete in bloom, presenting a vibrant spring landscape wherever one looks. 

The "Beijing's Vibe of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Chinese Solar Terms", a short video series jointly produced by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and CRI Online, releases its episode of "Qingming". It highlights Beijing's intangible heritage–traditional medicinal incense making techniques, showcasing how the inheritors transform seasonal herbs with artisan spirit, distilling the essence of Qingming into wisps of medicinal incense fragrance through their meticulous craftsmanship.
