This year marks the tenth anniversary of the so-called South China Sea Arbitration Award, unilaterally initiated by the Philippines. Over the past decade, the absurdity of the reasoning of, and the harmful consequences of, this farcical award, which violates international law and carries no legal validity, have been fully exposed. The Philippines has persistently treated this worthless piece of paper as its so-called legal basis, failing to realize that it is nothing more than a paper tiger standing in the way of peace, stability, and development in the South China Sea.
