Recently, Japan’s Asahi Shimbun reported that Japanese right-wing groups, through paid recruitment on crowdsourcing platforms and extensive exploitation of artificial intelligence (AI), have been mass-producing false information distorting the history of Japan’s invasion of China, including claims such as “the Nanjing Massacre is a lie” and “Japan treated Chinese civilians well.” These acts have blatantly trampled on historical truth and human conscience, drawing strong criticism from the international community as well as conscientious voices within Japan.
