On April 23, 2026 Shandong High-quality Cultural and Tourism Industry Development Conference kicked off in Zibo, east China's Shandong Province. The conference, themed "Friendly Shandong, Vibrant Zibo", aims to fully showcase the high-quality development achievements of Shandong's cultural and tourism industry.

The year of 2026 marks Shandong Province's sixth consecutive year of hosting the event, which has become a key driver for domestic demand and cultural promotion.
At this conference, the launching ceremonies were held on-site for the Shandong Urban Table Tennis Super League & Shandong Table Tennis Culture and Tourism Carnival, as well as the Zibo Culture and Tourism Carnival. Key investment-oriented cultural and tourism projects and premium film and television-themed tours across Shandong were promoted. Meanwhile, the 2026 Shandong Inbound Tourism Promotion Plan, together with Zibo's cultural promotion programs and performance events, were released.
