On June 18, a branch venue celebration event of China's Nation-wide Dragon Boat Festival Celebrations, themed "Our Festival·Dragon Boat Festival", was launched in Laoling, a county-level city in Dezhou, Shandong Province, China.
The event features three main sections, including the ancient-style Dragon Boat Festival celebrations, craftsmanship and innovation, and sentiments of patriotism. Integrating Dragon Boat folk customs, virtue culture, intangible cultural heritage, and civic civilization practices, it delivers an immersive cultural experience for visitors.

During the ancient-style Dragon Boat Festival celebrations, visitors could interact with costumed NPCs and take part in traditional folk pastimes, including arrow tossing, striking images of "five poisonous creatures" to ward off noxious pests and disease, dotting realgar wine on the forehead, and gifting colorful silk threads, immersing themselves in authentic ancient Dragon Boat customs.

The "craftsmanship and innovation" area showcased the intangible cultural heritage items of Dezhou, Shandong Province. The intangible cultural heritage market was alive with hustle and bustle. The aromas of local delicacies like horseshoe-shaped sesame cakes and golden-thread jujubes drifted through the streets, while artisans demonstrated skills such as pyrography on gourds, jujube-root carving, and hand-weaving. It allowed visitors to taste the local treats, admire artworks and try the crafts up close.
In addition, the "patriotic sentiment" sector was staged at the main stage of Yongning Prince Mansion in Laoling World Studios. It featured a succession of spectacular performances—including children's song-and-dance routines, poetry recitations, skits, and acrobatics—drawing continuous applause from the audience and creating a lively yet solemn atmosphere.
