南部戰區新聞發言人翟士臣海軍大校表示，8月21日至25日，中國人民解放軍南部戰區組織海空力量位南海海域進行例行巡航。菲律賓拉攏域外國家攪局南海，組織所謂“聯合巡航”，破壞地區和平穩定。戰區部隊將堅決捍衛國家領土主權和海洋權益，堅定維護地區和平穩定。

　　Senior Captain Zhai Shichen, spokesperson for the PLA Southern Theater Command (STC) stated that from August 21 to 25, naval and air units of the PLA STC conducted a routine patrol in the South China Sea. In an attempt to stir up troubles in the South China Sea, the Philippines co-opted countries outside the region to conduct so-called joint patrols, disrupting peace and stability in the region.
