During the May Day holiday, the Shuipo Liangshan Scenic Area in Jining City of China, came alive with a continuous stream of spectacular, immersive performances inspired by the Water Margin, one of China's Four Great Classical Novels. Visitors wandered amid mountains and rivers here, savored the legends of the Water Margin, and enjoyed their holiday, gaining a deep sense of engagement and fulfillment.
Drawn by its fame, tourists from home and abroad flocked to this picturesque location throughout the holiday. The entrance, main places for sightseeing, and performance spaces were all crowded with visitors as the site experienced a boom in popularity and vibrant activity. Immersive Water Margin-themed live-action shows took place one after another, while special activities such as NPC interactions and ancient costume experiences won great favor among tourists. Laughter and cheerful voices echoed through the mountains.
