China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit 2018 Held in Shenyang

　　On the morning of August 29, China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit 2018 was held in Shenyang, at which All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the “2018 China Private Enterprises Top 500 List”.

　　Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. ranked the first place again with operation revenue of 603.621 billion yuan, followed by Suning Holdings, Zhengwei International, JD Group and Shandong Weiqiao Group from the second to the fifth places.

　　This summit, co-sponsored by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Liaoning Provincial Government, lasted from August 29 to 31. This is the second time that the China Top 500 Private Enterprises Summit is held outside Beijing following the 2017 Summit.

　　Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee Chen Qiufa remarked at the event that the current economic situation of Liaoning has shown a steady and positive trend, with gradual improvement in the quality and efficiency of its development.

　　In the list, Dashang Group Co., Ltd. Of Liaoning Province ranks the 10th with operation revenue of 280.8 billion yuan, and Dalian Wanda Group Co., Ltd. ranked the 17th with operation revenue of 201.8 billion yuan. The statistics show that among the top 500 enterprises, 94 ones participate in the Northeast Revitalization Strategy, accounting for 21.56%, an increase of 1.52% over the previous year.

　　In recent years, Liaoning has launched a series of important initiatives to improve its business environment. The Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government proposed to develop Liaoning into one of the provinces boasting the best development environment. To this end, Liaoning Province introduced the first local regulations on the business environment in Northeast China and took the lead in establishing China’s first competent authority in charge of supervising the construction of business environment.

　　Due to its great efforts made to optimiz its business environment, Liaoning Province has cancelled more than a thousand administrative functions. 32 certificates involved in the industrial and commercial registration are integrated into one, 376 certificates are available immediately upon application, and 487 items can be solved "only by paying one-time visit".

　　The improvements resulting from such great efforts have been widely recognized by private enterprises. It was learned from Department of Commerce of Liaoning Provincial that a number of key projects will be signed with Liaoning Province during the summit, with total investment estimated to exceed 100 billion yuan. Nearly one hundred well-known enterprises such as Huawei, Vanke, Evergrande, JD and Tencent have determined to sign specific projects for cooperation.

　　During the summit, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Liaoning Provincial Government will jointly hold a series of activities such as “Conference for Private Enterprises to Help Promote High-quality Development of Liaoning Province” and “Ceremony of the Establishment of The General Association of Liaoning Entrepreneurs”.
