International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing China

International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 Beijing China, known as Beijing Expo 2019, is a worldwide horticultural exposition with the highest category. The 162-day event will be held from April 29 to October 7 in Yanqing county. The venue will cover 960 hectares. 

The emblem of Beijing Expo 2019 is the "Flower of the Great Wall." With six petals of different colours surrounding the Great Wall, it illustrates an "international horticultural exhibition at the foot of the Great Wall." Mascots of Beijing Expo 2019 are dubbed "Little Bud" and "Little Flower," a brother and a sister. They symbolise life, hope, diligence and beauty. They are inspired by the traditional Chinese painting Baizi tu ("painting of a hundred sons"). With unique headwear, costumes, and stage props, they take on the mission of popularising horticulture and green ideas.
