Yanqing station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway plays a new movement of Yanqing development

Recently, the construction of Yanqing station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, which is famous for its "lofty Mountains and Flowing Water" design, has been completed and fully qualified for operation. The total construction area of Yanqing high-speed railway station is more than 200000 square meters. Including the main building of Yanqing station, the whole project of Comprehensive Transportation Service Center covers an area of more than 60000 square meters, equivalent to the size of eight standard football fields.

Yanqing station is divided into "Lofty Mountain" and "Flowing Water". The "Lofty Mountain" on the west side is a 30 meter five story building, which looks like a hill. The "Flowing Water" on the east side is the waiting hall and two-story office area, the roof "waves" ups and downs, the “mountains” and “valleys” are well proportioned. "Lofty Mountains and Flowing Water" is beautiful and natural, which is highly in line with the ecological concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains " in Yanqing.

The waiting hall covers an area of 2152 square meters. According to Li Wenbo, director of Engineering Department of Yanqing transfer center of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, the maximum number of people gathered here is 1500, but the actual capacity is 1800.

Yanqing station is about 75 kilometers away from Beijing urban area, and about 30 kilometers away from the core area of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games. It also meets the arrival and departure of Yanqing Branch Line of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, vehicle connection, Winter Olympics and winter Paralympic Games service guarantee functions. It is an important transportation hub connecting Yanqing District and Beijing urban area. During the 2022 Winter Olympic Games and winter Paralympic Games in Beijing, people who take public transportation to Yanqing competition area can transfer and connect here. It is estimated that after Yanqing station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway is put into operation, the passenger throughput of Yanqing station will reach 18000 per day. By then, it will take only 30 minutes to get from Beijing to Yanqing, and Yanqing station will become the first "transportation hub" in Beijing where seven modes of transportation such as high-speed railway, intercity railway and public transportation are switched.

Such a building with beautiful and practical functions contains extraordinary craftsmanship everywhere in the construction process.

The roof of Yanqing station is a double-layer roof system composed of 3022 aluminum-magnesium-manganese plates and 2685  aluminum veneer, which has the functions of waterproof, cold resistance and earthquake resistance. In addition, the annual minimum temperature in Yanqing District can be close to minus 30 ℃. In order to avoid the influence of ice on the overall function of the roof due to the ice in the drainage gutter, the builders have introduced the electric heat tracing system for snow melting and ice melting. After skillful combination of technology and wisdom, the roof is extremely strong and can withstand the extremely low temperature of minus 50 ℃ and the violent mountain wind of magnitude 10 or above.

The vacuum glass on the roof has good daylighting and thermal conductivity, and can directly collect natural light sources. In case of sudden increase in current, it can also be used to dredge air and introduce light. In winter, with the addition of light energy, the heating valve of Yanqing Comprehensive Transportation Service Center can meet the normal indoor temperature when it is half opened. 

In addition, Yanqing station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway also optimizes and reengineers the existing business process by means of intelligent shift dispatching, operation APP and automatic monitoring, so as to realize efficient organization and precise management of the whole production process. In the process of production and operation, operation APP is used to assist. The APP covers all business processes of passenger transport production and provides accurate and timely passenger transport information of the whole railway; intelligent message push mechanism is adopted to ensure real-time reporting of important information and timely processing of key work. 

With the Yanqing Branch Line of Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway officially incorporated into the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway network, Yanqing has officially entered the half hour economic circle of Beijing. A high-speed railway station and the Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway will open a new chapter for the development of Yanqing, the Winter Olympic World Park City.
